Louay is the Director and Founder of Spartans Security, bringing over 30 years of experience to the field of information security. He has provided advisory services in security strategy, governance, risk, and compliance across a broad range of sectors, including education, FinTech, retail, and government. Louay has also served as a CISO for various organisations and led many security programs, drawing on his deep expertise with platforms such as Microsoft and Amazon. He has published numerous articles and is a sought-after keynote speaker at conferences and events both in Australia and overseas. He is currently the Chair of the Cyber Security Technical Advisory Board of the Australian Computer Society and a key figure in the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Melbourne Chapter. He is also actively involved with the Australian Information Security Association. Louay holds security industry certifications, such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISA, CISM, CRISC, and CDPSE.
