Spartans Security is pleased to announce our participation in the upcoming ICT Management in Focus: Data Governance Tools webinar, hosted by Independent Schools NSW (ISNSW) on Wednesday, 25 March 2026.
Louay Ghashash, Managing Director of Spartans Security, will be presenting alongside Jane Harford, Manager Data and Application at MACSEYE, sharing insight and practical steps into building and maturing data governance, Security and Data Loss prevention, and how to secure implementing it using Microsoft Purview, taking a big step toward Zero Trust Framework. The session will also cover how to detect and prevent sharing sensitive data with AI and shadow AI that school staff are using.
This online event brings together ICT leaders and education sector practitioners to explore practical approaches to data governance, including data classification, protection, retention, and compliance. As the education sector continues to manage increasing volumes of sensitive information, effective data governance has become a critical component of cyber resilience and regulatory compliance.
Note: the Webinar starts 9.00 am and there are other sessions on the day.
The session will feature case studies from schools, technology providers, and security specialists, with a strong focus on practical lessons learned and actionable outcomes for ICT and school leadership teams. A copy of the presentation will be available after the session to the people attending the event.
