Spartans Security is seeking driven and motivated Penetration Testers (both Senior and Junior) to join the team of security professionals on permanent basis.

We work across a wide portfolio of clients from SME's to national corporate businesses, and help them in identifying security vulnerabilities by conducting ongoing web application, infrastructure and network security scan.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with diverse range of customers to identify and solve security problems.

• Ensure that customer’s key infrastructure is secured

• Monitor ongoing customer managed service environment

• Undertake infrastructure and web application penetration testing

• Undertake vulnerability assessments

• Assist in preparing summary and technical reports detailing security issues and providing recommendations

• Dark web and threat monitoring

• Perform incident responses as required

 

 

Key requirements:

• A degree or relevant qualification in Information technology or Cyber Security

• Commenced in security certifications (or preferably certified) such as OSCP, SANS, CREST, CISM, CISA, CISSP

• A genuine interest in working in the cyber security field

• Willingness to learn and explore new technical areas (training will be provided)

• An understanding of one or more security concepts, e.g.

  • Web Application Security

  • Security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, IPS, etc…

  • Understanding of Vulnerability assessments process

• An experience in penetration testing is desirable but not mandatory

• Working experience in one of the following:

  • Linux (Kali or Parrot Sec)

  • Windows PowerShell

  • Qualys or Nessus Vulnerability Scanners

  • Metasploit framework

• Excellent attention to detail as well as communication skills
